Today was an interesting day. In March 2022 I had given a Longbow V1 to a good friend for testing. He’s shot this bow since and put more than 1000 arrows through. Now I got it back and examinded it closely. Checked tiller, which still seems perfect and the chronograph testing show’s the truth about the longevity of these wooden bows. The results were 179fps @ 10gpp @ 28″ drawlength (AMO). The lighter arrow, 7.1 gpp shot a solid 199fps. These numbers are within my expectations and show that these bows don’t loose much of their cast over time. With these numbers they will outshoot any glassbow of similar design even after using it a lot. Happy bowyer (-;
