“TURBO” Longbow Prototype No 2

Here comes TURBO – the super speedy Longbow. It’s a project I have been carrying around with me for a while now, still a concept bow – prototype no2. A longbow according to the IAAF rules – 40# @ 28″ – 63.5 ntn – Bamboo/Maple/Yew/Horn. I’m pretty happy with this one, probably one of the fastest bows I’ve built so far. Shooting 7gpp at 211fps which probably makes one of the fastest existing longbow according to IAAF regulations. Call it a successful experiment. Now it has to proove its durability over 1000 arrows.

As soon as we have better weather again I will test the 10gpp on the shooting machine.
