This one was made from probably the best Swiss Alpine Yew I have worked. Sadly the stave had to be shortened due to a few drying checks towards the lower tips; I couldn’t get completly rid of them and filled the remaining with my epoxy of trust; these spots now for sure are stronger then the origial wood – what remains is a cosmetical issue tough. After that the bow was tillered and testwise pulled to 103# at 33″ of draw. This was tolerated by the bow without taking a lot of set which is very remarkable for the length and drawweight of the bow. Due to the shortness the recommended drawlength for this bow is limited 30″. To compensate the cosmetic issues this bow is discounted in price.
