The 100 pound Lightning!

Yes, that was a cool challenge. At first I was hesitating to make that bow and refused. Whats the point in making such bow? But after a while my ambition got the better of me, and I agreed to make that bow.

This week was finally the big handover day—Alex came all the way from the UK just for it.  The bow came out only 90# but I think Alex is still happy. For me it was an interesting challenge wchich teached me a lot. Going out of the comfort zone is always an eye opener. To see that bow working gives me even greater confidence into that hornbow model!

We had a great time making another bow together, roving around the house and shooting a high alpine 3d course.
